NOTABLE REVIEWS:
If you like the Wizard of Oz, Chronicles of Narnia, and Lord of the Rings novels get ready to immerse yourself in the Secret Speakers series. “Kingworth has created a rich, detailed fantasy world that is unique and as vivid as all of them, with charming, whimsical touches.”
School Library Journal, starred review
“I find . . . Fair O’Nelli to be a character comparable to Lucy Pevensie in Narnia, Éowyn in Lord of the Rings, who matches even the finest of Jane Austen’s heroines.”
~Jonathon Svendsen, NarniaFans.com
“Secret Speakers is a wonderful and magical mystery-fantasy in which love conquers fear. Readers who have adored Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia, Rowling’s Harry Potter, and Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings will delight in the adventures of the young Fair O’Nelli as she evades slavery and embarks on an intriguing and vividly detailed journey to overcome evil.”
~David J. Theroux, Founder and President, C.S. Lewis Society of California

AMAZING BOOK, a MUST read!!!!!!!!! ~Dawn D. (Woodbridge, VA)
Move over J.K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer and make room for a new fantasy and adventure master–K.S.R. Kingworth! Her debut novel will keep you turning pages as you get caught up in the mystical, marvelous adventure that takes place in an amazing universe. It goes without saying that after reading Secret Speakers and the Search for Selador’s Gate all fantasy and adventure fans will eagerly await more tales from the fertile imagination of Kingworth. ~John A. (USA)
Here is a wonderful new story that will certainly stand the test of time. And the reason is this: while the story contains plenty of fantasy, magic, mystery, intrigue, and evil, it is not ABOUT any of these things. It is a story of faith destroying doubt, of friendship conquering fright, and of love overcoming fear. This is a book that will never gather dust on a shelf as children will continue to read it again and again, gaining new and deeper insights into the worlds of Airen Or and Cloven Grave and realizing how closely those worlds resemble their own. ~Weldon H. (Spanish Fork, UT)
Finally–a new book for our children’s generation that is as Tolkienesque and/or C.S. Lewisinian as anything I’ve come across. The plot moves along quickly and the characters are deeply fleshed out. It is easy to sense from the beginning that there is an intricate, detailed world that these characters live in thanks to the author’s obvious writing talent. There is nothing shallow about this book. My daughter was captivated by the chapters she’s read so far in the review copy and is anxious to read the rest. When do we get to see it in print? We’re chomping at the bit.” ~Gwen S. (Park City, UT)
I must say, when i first started to read Secret Speakers, not my kind of read. But I always finish what I start and i must say I’m glad i did. The characters just came to life and the movie was playing in my head. I will be reading this a couple more times just to read it lol. Thank you for the opportunity to read such a imaginative story. Definitely a story for my future kids. ~Steve R. (Weirton, WV)
I’m asked to review a lot of books, and I have to say that I haven’t enjoyed a fantasy this much in a long time. Secret Speakers is incredible and your writing is excellent. It definitely kept me reading and I hated having to put it down. I’m looking forward to letting my daughters read it. ~Jewel A. (Asheville, NC)
The book is much more than fantasy etc… it has so may good thoughts that I have 5 pages of cuts and pastes of things so far that I want to remember and I am only about half done . . . . Wonderful words and story and I would definitely recommend it. ~Susan C. (Wilsonville, OR)
Ok, I am exhausted. It is 11:30 pm and that is very late for me! (I wake up every morning at 6m to get my son and myself up and out in the morning.) I just couldn’t go to bed tonight until I had finished the book! I haven’t been this excited about a book in awhile! My mind is reeling……so much to think about. The story stays with you when you are done! I am already looking forward to my next visit to Cloven Grave! ~Kathy O. (Huntington Station, NY)
An excellent read. So much so that once I started, I couldn’t stop until I was done. Much better use of my time, then what I had planned.
~ Ronda B. (Ogden, UT)
I really loved this story! It is completely different than Twilight. I liked the message better. ~Cheryl B. (Orem, UT)
