HOWEVER....listening to the audio book has been a remarkable experience! I am hearing the beauty of the language as read by Simon Vance. He is able to make the various characters come alive with such remarkably different and appropriate voices. As I listen to him read, I am amazed by the poetic music of the words as well as the flow of the story. Both my husband and I are listening together and frequently comment to each other, "Oh, isn't this wonderful...doesn't she write beautifully!"
